Patrick Colquhoun, Younger of Luss is the eldest son of Sir Malcolm Colquhoun of Luss, Chief of Clan Colquhoun and future Clan Chief. As the son of a Scot and an American, Patrick divides his time between Scotland and the US. Patrick started out in the recruitment industry in London before moving back to his home town of Luss, Loch Lomond in 2016 to pursue an MBA at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. As Assistant CEO of Luss Estates, Patrick is preparing to manage this highly diversified business including in hand farm, game, property, renewables and tourism. He spends his time in Glen Luss with his wife, Lottie, two boys, Arthur and Rory and a menagerie of animals including 2 dogs, 13 sheep, 2 runner ducks and a Shetland pony, and when time permits he and his family enjoy mountain biking, skiing, hiking, paddle boarding and surfing in the Atlantic from their holiday home on the Isle of Tiree!

Eddie was born and raised in Alabama and began an adventurous life by leaving Mobile on a ship and traveling through the Panama Canal to Alaska where he was a King Crab fisherman in the Bering Sea. After cheating death for 3 years, he returned to Mobile and received a degree in Geology, which led to the next logical step of becoming a Navy Pilot serving a 3 year tour in Hawaii followed by orders as an instructor pilot in Pensacola Florida. This segued into a position as an international pilot for American Airlines where he recently retired after an enjoyable 30 year career. He currently helps manage their vacation beach rental properties in Manasota Key, FL while enjoying his two hobbies, golfing and bowling. Eddie considers his greatest achievements in life to be; earning the rank of Eagle Scout, bowling a perfect 300 game and convincing his wife, Jen, to take a gamble on him 32 years ago!

Keith Calhoun Is blessed to be a New Jersey native who settled in Virginia after college to raise a family, build a career within the commercial building industry, worked with a group of like minded volunteers to build the largest soccer club in Virginia that includes a premier playing facility and to have a strong foundation of family history linked to Scotland. Keith is a valued member of the Clan Colquhoun team who helps to run our tents at the Central Florida Highland Games.<br /> Currently, one can find him still managing projects, following the grandchildren’s adventures, caring for the family goats and chickens and enjoying our Lord’s blessings.

Scott and his wife of 35 years Caroline reside in the Buffalo suburb of Clarence, NY. Scott is an Account Executive with Hadley Exhibits, one of the largest and most respected exhibit houses in the US. He enjoys golfing, cycling and spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons Finn and Declan Calhoun.

Originally from Minnesota with Swedish roots, Sue is enthusiastically in cahoots with Clan Colquhoun by virtue of being married to Van Calhoun. They have enjoyed several Scottish music, birding, and hiking festivals and visits to Luss. Earlier in life she spent three wonderful years as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Samoa (South Pacific). Today she is mostly-retired as a “pracademic”-a professor and practitioner- of conflict resolution and collaborative decision making for environmental and natural resource management, and as an environmental policy specialist for the New York State Senate. She spends six weeks each semester as an environmental communication research professor at Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Uppsala, Sweden. She enjoys her and Van’s tugboat Betty June on the Hudson River, gardening, birding, hiking, traveling, volunteering, reading, experiencing different cultures, and catering to the two cats who live with her and Van.

An American who was raised in Europe, Peter attended the international schools in Italy, The Netherlands and Belgium and graduated high school from the International School of Brussels. He returned to the United States to pursue his higher education and after graduating from Law School, he spent the majority of his career as a senior officer for various international companies, including Schlumberger and Lafarge, and was based in London, Stavanger (Norway) and Paris. Peter has had a lifelong love affair with Scotland and his Scottish heritage and is a member of many Scottish heritage organizations. An avid student of Clan history, Highland dress and genealogy, he was recently elected as a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland. Peter retired six year ago and lives in Naples, Florida, with his lovely wife of 37 years, Teresa, and they have two adult children. Peter and Teresa travel extensively and enjoy good food, wine and company (Peter also loves Single Malt Scotch, especially from Islay - a love definitely not shared by Teresa!)

A High School Art Teacher from New York State, Caroline comes to the Colquhoun clan as the wife of Scott Calhoun. Her mother was an Elliott and so she does double time loving all things Scottish. She is the mother of two sons, Patrick and John and two grandchildren who are her pride and joy. She loves the life of an educator and spent years in college studying painting, Art History and Literature. She splits her time creating artwork between painting and all things Adobe ( graphic software ). She holds a masters degree in education and has a passion for living with teenagers who both amaze her with their talent and brilliance and tease her to no end. When not engaged with family, Caroline can be found in her garden, in front of a canvas or sailing up in Maine in the US.

Daniel Hillis Rambo is a junior at Nolensville High School in Nolensville, Tennessee. Daniel excels in STEM subjects and enjoys reading and history. He is a member of the Brentwood, TN Boy Scout Troop 8 and frequently goes camping and hiking. Although Daniel plays soccer, his primary sport is that of a swordsman as a member of the local fencing club.

Despite the Scottish surname, Bridgette has no known claim to any Scottish heritage. She did however start her career some 35+ years ago working for Michael Lloyd-Stern, in Greater London. This was the start of a lifelong friendship and the reason she is part of this chapter of the Luss Games. Bridgette is the founder and CEO of Alpine, a high-end interim management organisation supplying executives to UK Government and wider Public Sector. A keen outdoors person who, at weekends, will usually be found somewhere in the UK on short trips in her beloved motorhome, or competing in Competitive Obedience with her 3 dogs. This is her first Games and you will recognise her as the over-excited newbie with not the vaguest idea of what is going on, but who will be absolutely delighted to be part of the event.

George lives and works in Boston, Massachusetts and is managing partner at the consulting firm Cahill Swift. When not at the office or on business travel, he and wife Sandra (a financial advisor) and son Lachlan (student), are active in club life, music, the arts, athletics, volunteer service, and governance. With his family or on his own, he enjoys playing squash, fly fishing, sailing, skiing, hosting parties, and attending events around Boston.

Van William Calhoun’s American-Scottish roots go deep with many forebears named William Calhoun. He is a self-trained architect, builder, and retired national mortgage banking business developer. Van is also a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain of the small Tugboat Betty June. He has been deeply involved in town government planning on issues of energy, roads, zoning, and finance. He served as the past president of a local performing arts organization and the past commodore of a regional council of boat clubs. Currently he directs the restoration of an historic lighthouse in the Hudson River. He and his wife Environmental Studies Professor Emerita Dr. Susan Senecah live on his family farm settled in 1782 in New York State’s Hudson River Valley. Together, Van and Sue like to be outside whenever possible. They tend gardens, fields, and trails and love birding, wildlife viewing, and all animals. They also enjoy reading, music, history, experiencing different cultures, and travel especially to Scotland and Sweden.

Patrick Calhoun Rambo is a junior at Currey Ingram Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee and enjoys studying biology and science. Along with his twin brother, Daniel, he is a member of Boy Scout Troop 8 and is also mentoring younger students at his school this summer. Patrick plays tennis at school, loves music, and is learning to play guitar.

Thomas (Tommy) Calhoun is from central New Jersey, United States, where he studied at and continues to work for Rutgers University. He discovered his relationship to the clan after breaking down a genealogical brick wall by using consumer DNA testing, and offers his support to those wishing to supplement their family history with such technology. He offers a fresh outsider's perspective to discovering Scottish heritage, and how family and cultural history affects us all today. Tommy recently celebrated the birth of their first son with his wife Samantha. He also serves on the Executive Board of an Irish heritage nonprofit organization the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh, Essex Division.

Lachlan (14) lives in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston with parents George and Sandra.. As a native Bostonian, he skis every weekend during winter in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. He enjoys science, rocketry, mountain biking, freediving, and mountaineering. An avid entrepreneur, when not in class he works both at a law firm and and for a restaurant group assisting with new acquisitions. He grew up attending the British School in the US and will be moving to Scotland to begin at Gordonstoun at the end of August
